The victim reported being duped into a work at home internet scam. The victim was instructed to deposit checks and money
orders into their personal bank account. The victim was receiving deposits apparently originating in Pennsylvania and sending
the balance to a overseas foreign address. In exchange for acting as the middle man the victim was told to keep a percentage of the
deposit for their efforts. As in all "Too good to be True" scams the checks and money orders were all worthless. |

| Someone broke into a maintenance building at the golf course gaining access to several golf & utility carts. Several carts were driven around the property. Carts and the building were damaged as a result of this crime. Rye Police are seeking your tips to solve this crime. 603-964-5521 | ||
| Crime: Burglary | Carriage House Restaurant, 2263 Ocean Blvd, Rye | Date: 4am 4/24/2007 |
| Someone broke into the closed restaurant on three different occasions. Twice during the weekend of 4/16/2007 and then again on Tuesday 4/24/2007. Alcoholic beverages were the target in each of the burglaries. Rye Police are seeking your tips to solve this crime. 603-964-5521 | ||
