Recent Crime


Crime: Assault Ocean Blvd & River Ave Date: 930pm 6/8/2007
The victim was assaulted with a knife sustaining non-life threatening injuries.  The suspect was described as a Black Male, 5'8", 170lbs, wearing a white T-shirt, Jean shorts and a baseball hat.  Police are seeking additional witnesses and information to help solve this crime.

Crime: Receiving Stolen Property Harbor Road Date: 750am 6/8/2007
A laptop believed to have been stolen was recovered on Harbor Road.  Police are trying to locate the victim of this crime.  A suspect seen in the area was described as a Tall, thin, dark skinned male in his 20's.  He was wearing a Black Hat, Shirt, capri type jeans.  Police need your help to solve this crime.

Crime: Theft On the beach opposite McDonalds Date: 6/8/2007
The victim was playing soccer on the beach with friends while someone stole a backpack containing several personal items.  Police are seeking information to identify the suspect involved in this crime.

Crime: Criminal Mischief 195 Island Path Date: 1am 6/3/2007
Someone inside a dark colored 4-door car reportedly threw a rock at the victims car.  This smashed the windshield and scratched paint on the hood.  Police need your help to solve this crime.

Crime: Criminal Trespass 34 Barbour Road Date: 5pm-8pm 6/8/2007
The victim reported that someone entered their home while they were away.  It doesn't appear as though damage was done or anything was taken.  Police are seeking your tips to solve this crime.

Crime: Criminal Mischief 11 Hayden Circle Date: 11pm-2am 6/8/2007
The victim reported someone slashed tires on his car.  Police need your help to identify suspects.

Crime: Criminal Mischief Beach Attitude, 81 Ocean Blvd Date: 7pm 6/7/2007 - 9am 6/8/2007
Someone threw a sign from an adjoining property through the victims front door.  Please call with your tips to solve this crime.

Crime: Theft Ships Inn, 11 A Street Date: 120am 6/3/2007
Someone stole a 7' statue of a Sea Captain from the property.  Police need your help solving this crime.

Crime: Theft Holly Ln, Hackett Ln, Evergreen Rd Date: 230m 6/5/2007 - 8am 6/8/2007
Several victims reported that their unlocked cars were entered overnight.  Several personal items of value were stolen.  Please call CrimeLine with your tips.

Crime: Criminal Mischief Beach Area Business Establishments Date: 6/6/2007 - 6/8/2007
Several business owners reported Graffiti spray painted on their buildings.  CrimeLine gives cash rewards for your tips.

- Rye, NH Burglaries -

Crime: Burglary Abenaqui Country Club, 731 Central Rd, Rye Date: 9pm 4/21/2007 - 2am 4/22/2007
Someone broke into a maintenance building at the golf course gaining access to several golf & utility carts.  Several carts were driven around the property.  Carts and the building were damaged as a result of this crime.  Rye Police are seeking your tips to solve this crime.  603-964-5521
Crime: Burglary Carriage House Restaurant, 2263 Ocean Blvd, Rye Date: 4am 4/24/2007
Someone broke into the closed restaurant on three different occasions.  Twice during the weekend of 4/16/2007 and then again on Tuesday 4/24/2007.  Alcoholic beverages were the target in each of the burglaries.  Rye Police are seeking your tips to solve this crime.  603-964-5521
