  • Trick-or-Treat in Hampton is on Friday October 31, 2008 between the hours of 5:30PM-8PM.

  • Children under the age of 16 should go out with a parent or a designated responsible adult and be accompanied to the door of every house they approach.

  • Children should remove any mask or item that will limit eyesight before crossing a street. One person in the group should have a flashlight.

  • Obey all traffic and pedestrian regulations by always walking and never running across a street.

  • Never cut across yards and always walk on sidewalks when possible. If no sidewalk is available, walk at the farthest edge of the roadway facing traffic.

  • Only Trick-or-Treat in well known neighborhoods and approach houses where the outside lights are on as a signal of welcome.

  • Never enter a stranger's home or car for a treat.

  • Never consume unwrapped food items or open beverages that may be offered.

  • No treats are to be eaten until they are thoroughly checked by an Adult at home.
