Hampton Police currently have three Traffic Accident Reconstruction Specialists. They investigate and reconstruct serious injury crashes in our community.

Through examination and analysis of the crash scene and vehicles it is usually possible to determine many aspects of a crash.  Complex calculations can help determine average speeds of the vehicles involved, direction of travel, equipment defects and other contributing factors.
